Articulations celebrates the mestizaje of Mexico through a contemporary feminist lens. The exhibition creates a space of connection, revealing the textures of everyday life through ritual, gesture, and silhouette.

The photographs navigate the lingering shadows of cultural imperialism, juxtaposing Mexico’s luminous vitality with the tensions of the war on drugs. Beneath their vibrancy runs a quieter current of grief, gathering at the edges of the frame where beauty, celebration and unease coexist.

The 22 photographs and video (2.31 minutes) called The Mojiganga and Family Falfan, inhabit this threshold, tracing the resilience of communities shaped by histories of survival and revelry. Life continues to assert itself colourful, defiant and deeply human.
